Initial Round Assessment
The Expert Panel, with members composed of reputable local experts in the fields of marketing, advertising, creative design, and smart app development, will assess the eligible entries based on their submitted information and the one-minute introductory video (for app presentation) in accordance with the judging criteria. The Initial Round will short-list 9 finalists, 3 from each award category, for the Final Round Assessment. A total of 30 Certificate of Merits will also be selected in the Initial Round.
Final Round Assessment
The 9 finalists will receive notification in Mid-May for attending the Asia Smart App Award Demo Day which will be held in Hong Kong in June 2019. The finalists are required to deliver a 10-minute presentation to the Final Judging Panel composed of representatives of each regional co-organiser from the Asian regions, which will determine the ranking of the 9 finalists. All finalists will receive their awards and recognition at the Asia Smart App Awards Presentation Ceremony to be held in Hong Kong on 20 June 2019.
